Whether you're a longtime Rocky fan or a first-time visitor to Dr. Frank-N-Furter's laboratory, leave your inhibitions at the door and enter a world where the strange is celebrated, the unexpected is inevitable, and nothing is quite what it seems.

Taking inspiration from the decades-long audience participation traditions that have made Rocky Horror a cultural phenomenon, this immersive production will celebrate the show’s legacy as a joyful celebration of queer expression.

Jimmy Mavrikes

Co-Director

Jimmy Mavrikes (he/him) is Monumental’s Co-Artistic Director. He directed Monumental's productions of Head Over Heels and Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche. He also created the Flip Flop: A Miscast Cabaret Series, and has directed and many of Monumental's cabarets, concerts, and fundraisers.

In addition to his work for Monumental, Jimmy is a Helen Hayes award-winning actor for his work on stage. He has been seen on the stages of Signature Theatre, Arena Stage, Olney Theatre, Imagination Stage, 1st Stage, The Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, and many more. In 2019, he won the Helen Hayes award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a musical for his work in Girlfriend at Signature Theatre. Jimmy is a proud member of Actor's Equity.

Michael Windsor

Co-Director

Michael Windsor (he/him) is a four-time Helen Hayes-nominated director and Co-Artistic Director of Monumental Theatre Company. Windsor's direction has been praised for being "unconventional" and "a refreshing take on musical theatre."

Marika Countouris

Music Director

Marika Contouris (she/her) is Monumental's resident Music Supervisor. She has lead the vocal and music direction for myriad Monumental productions, cabarets, and concerts, including American Psycho, Spring Awakening, tick, tick...BOOM!, Songs for a New World, Head Over Heels, Be More Chill, Daddy Long Legs, and Brooklyn.

She holds a BM in Musical Theatre from The Catholic University of America and serves as Vocal Instructor & Area Accompanist for Howard University's BFA Musical Theatre Program.

Ahmad Maaty

Choreographer

Ahmad Maaty has taught and performed throughout the United States and internationally. He has had the opportunity to work with companies such as The Bats Acting Company and Les Shakespeare in NYC, and locally with Silk Road Dance Company, The Hub Theater, Workhouse Arts Center, Monumental Theater Company, and Constellation Theater Companyt. Ahmad was named 2019’s Best Actor in a Community Theater Production and 2018's Best Choreographer in a Small Professional Theater by BroadwayWorld and was a Helen Hayes Nominee for best choreography for his work on Monumental's Pippin (2019), Spring Awakening (2024), and American Psycho (2025). He has been on faculty with the School of Theatre at George Mason University, and now serves as the theatre director at George C. Marshall High School. (www.ahmadmaaty.com)
